ICAC SERGEANT PROMOTION APPROVED BY COMMISSION

(LITTLE ROCK) – The Arkansas State Police Commission today approved the recommendation of Colonel Winford E. Phillips, Director of the Arkansas State Police, to promote Corporal Hoyt Harness to the rank of sergeant.

Sergeant Harness, 42, of Jacksonville, is currently assigned to the department’s Criminal Investigation Division, Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. Sergeant Harness, an 11 year veteran of the department, will supervise both commissioned and civilian employees assigned to the specialty unit.
